Wayne Salmans Newsletter - Autumn 2008
Dust off those ice-scrapers! The termination dust has settled and now we prepare for the inevitable. We are lucky to be Alaskans, since winter has its own set of adventures that we can look forward to.
The contrast in temperature was unmistakable several weeks ago when I traveled to Austin Texas for Real Estate training. I was clutching my Aquafina for dear life, and praying that each up and coming water fountain wasn’t going to fizzle into a heat mirage. 90+ temperatures squelched my complaints about the cool summer we’ve had up here…it could be worse.

Keller Williams Mega Camp was absolutely phenomenal. I had the privilege of being taught by John Maxwell and meeting him. I gleaned a lot of valuable insight from many other great leaders in the industry.
The main focus of the event was the current state of our market, and how to get through the slump! I am better equipped on how to sell in this market, the national and local economy, and creative ways to help people get out of homes that they really can’t afford anymore.
I was honored to be able to speak on two occasions, the first time in front of a 4,000 plus crowd. It was quite an experience and I hope to become a better and better leader with time.

It was a fantastic trip, although I am excited to be back and put some of my newfound knowledge to work for me.
Who do you know that is considering selling their home, but may be hesitant about our market or their financial state? Give me a call or send me an e-mail! I’d love to help them through it!
